Now THIS was funny. We took the Star Ferry from Kowloon to Hong Kong, and decided to catch this free shuttle bus to take us to the base of the Peak Tram - a tram which ferries passengers to the top of Victoria's Peak for an excellent view of the city. Well, traffic around the Ferry station was horrible due to some construction, and we waited probably 20 minutes for the bus to show up...then another 15-20 just to get through the traffic. We finally get moving at a decent pace, and then...we stop! We'd reached our destination..which, it turns out, is only about 4 or 5 blocks from the ferry station! Many people on the bus started laughing when we realized that we'd just wasted so much time standing around, when we easily could have walked the distance instead!
