The entrace to the hotel we stayed in (Canton Kong Chiu Hotel). Nice, but there was no hot water in the mornings, it was just lukewarm - bearable, but not enjoyable for a shower. Fortunately, they had western-style toilets. I was surprised to see the toilets at the manufacturing company I was visiting, they're porcelain bowls in the floor of each stall (flushable like a regular toilet), so you basically have to squat. Very different, I hadn't expected that!

Usually, there were 3-4 pretty Chinese girls at the door to greet you, wearing tight-fitting, colorful Chinese dresses.
